Playing ping pong and improving my skill in that sport is a hobby that I've continued with for the last few years. In my 11th grade year, because of virtual schooling and having a table to play at home, I found myself spending a lot of time playing with my sister and my parents, sometimes for short periods in the day and other times for over an hour in the evenings. By practicing frequently, I was able to continuously identify and work with my strengths and areas of improvement and hone my forehand and backhand, both. I sometimes asked the family member I was playing with to help me practice a specific skill (usually one of my areas of improvement), like forehand loops for example. My skill in table tennis has greatly improved through my time in the IB program because of consistent practice at home. I've exemplified the following IB Learner Profile traits while practicing this game: reflective, balanced, and open-minded.
